Description:
For over 30 years, Future Stars has been providing families in Westchester, Manhattan, and Long Island with comprehensive, specialty camp programs in the New York area. Programs will be directed by experienced and qualified teachers and coaches, who share a passion for working with children. Campers enjoy a daily recreational swim period, relaxing lunch and tremendous camaraderie with fellow campers and coaches.

Baseball Camp: Campers work individually & as teams to improve their offense & defense, power hitting, average, throwing, fielding, & speed/agility. Boys aged 6-16.
Basketball Camp: Campers benefit from our philosophy of small-group instruction, close supervision, emphasis on skills, quality game play, & focus on team-work. Boys & Girls aged 6-16.
Cheerleading Camp: Campers will participate in a dynamic, fun-filled program combining dance, jump, cheers & chants. Girls aged 7-16.
Field Hockey: Strong emphasis on fundamental skill mastery, situational play, and daily scrimmages. Girls aged 10 -16.
Football Camp: Campers divided by age, weight & ability. Contact will be introduced using a progressive methodology focusing on technical proficiency. Every day, throughout the week, players will be taught to enhance their skills, improve their speed, strength & agility, a& to play their position with proficiency. Boys aged 8-16.
Golf Camp: Campers participate in a dynamic program with daily training in stations that focus on tee ball, long iron, fairway woods, chipping, putting, &sand play. Boys & Girls aged 8-16.
Lacrosse Camp: Campers follow a program with major emphasis on teaching and developing individual skills whilst also developing ‘field sense’ and team concepts. Boys & Girls aged 7-16.

Multi-Sports Camp: Perfect blend of sports, recreational games, and camaraderie with campers participating in a multitude of exciting, fun-filled games. Curriculum is designed to be fun & instructional. Includes age appropriate skill building activities. The primary focus is to help campers enjoy themselves in an atmosphere that promotes self confidence & team work. Boys & Girls 6-16
Soccer Camp: Program emphasizes ball control, passing, agility, attacking, & defending with daily matches to ensure all campers all challenged and develop further. Boys & Girls aged 6-16.
Softball Camp: Campers are challenged to become more confident & composed players following a technical & tactical program of hitting, fielding, throwing, catching, & agility drills. Girls aged 11-16.
Tennis Camp: : Individually designed to methodically challenge players of all levels. Campers encouraged to enhance their strokes and strategies via group lesson, skill building drills, organized play, target training, & more. Boys & Girls aged 6-16.
Track & Field Camp: Designed to help campers become better, faster, and smarter athletes. Provides an educational and inspirational experience for track & field campers of all ages, skill levels, and abilities. You'll leave camp with increased running knowledge, new friends, & an enhanced love for the sport! Boys & Girls aged 7-16.
Volleyball Camp: Campers follow a challenging program of technical & tactical drills geared to improve fundamental skills and enhance game performance. Girls aged 11-16.

Description:
The Cornell Hi-Potential Volleyball Camp- Grades 9-12. Recommended for varsity athletes and/or players with advanced club experience. This camp features morning, afternoon and evening sessions all run at a fast pace. The High Potential Camp is geared towards the serious player who has an interest in playing volleyball at the highest level. Precise technique will be emphasized in terms of fine-tuning basic skills as well as developing a player's tactical-minded game. Positional work will also focus on specific skills and situations..

All Skills Volleyball Camp features morning, afternoon and evening sessions. It is geared toward the less experienced player who wants to improve skills and learn new concepts in preparation for varsity level play. Precise technique will be taught and applied to developing and improving basic skills. These skills will be put into play during daily games. Coaches will work with small groups in order to analyize individuals strengths/weaknesses and offer individuals exposure to college level coaching

Description:
Summer is the perfect time to play sports, meet new friends and experience different adventures. The Siena College sports camps offer you all those opportunities and more. The Siena coaching staff, Siena players, and other college players and coaches will teach you during the week. The emphasis will be on individual improvement and team competition, and the instruction will include informative lectures from visiting coaches. Along with the sports instruction you receive, you will have the chance to meet new friends and experience life on a college campus, from Siena's Marcelle Athletic Complex to its dining hall.
The objective of the Siena camp is to learn while having fun, regardless of age, sport experience, or skill level. Campers will be grouped with other campers with similar athletic backgrounds in the same age group. The many hours of individual instruction campers receive will be in small groups and supported with demonstrations and analysis from the coaching staff.

Science (CSI) Camp: Campers will use science to connect the dots and help sniff out the suspects in this hands-on investigation into the science of sleuthing. Boys & Girls aged 7-12.

Description:
Hartwick College Girls' Volleyball Camp:
All campers will be tutored in the basic fundamentals of volleyball. The basics of hitting, passing, setting, and blocking will be taught. Campers will receive instruction in multiple offenses and defenses, as well as serving and serving strategies.
Games will be played each evening, in which campers will be able to utilize their new skills in live game situations. The camp will end with a tournament.

The Hartwick volleyball camp will be under the direction of Louise Lansing, head coach of the Hartwick women's volleyball team. She will be assisted by Hartwick Assistant Coach Rich Gary. Lansing has worked in the Hartwick athletic department since 1982.

Description:
Volleyball Skills Camp Program:
Morning & Afternoon Sessions include: 1- technical skill instruction in serving, passing, attacking, blocking, 2- special training sessions for setters, hitters and defensive specialists, 3- tactical application of skills in gamelike drills 4- offensive systems 5- defensive systems

Evening Session includes application of offensive and defensive systems in 6 on 6 drills and scrimmage situations.

2010 VOLLEYBALL CAMPS AT NEW YORK CHIROPRACTIC COLLEGE:
We teach fundamentals. Our emphasis is on skill development. Players have easy access to indoor facilities and outdoor courts.

Program Information:
The Summer Athletic Camps are sponsored by the Office of Community & Professional Education in partnership with the college’s Athletic Department.
Basketball Camp- (Held at LaSalle Institute - 174 Williams Road)
ages 7-16, 9am-3pm. 2010 dates: June 28- July 2, (boys) and July 26- 30, (girls). cost: $155
This camp includes instruction in fundamental skills and basic rules; daily drills to improve agility, coordination and ball handling; instructional and game films. Equipment: workout gear, sneakers.

Soccer Camp
ages: 6-16. 2010 dates: July 19-23, August 2-6, 9 a.m.- 3 p.m. cost: $155
This camp includes instruction in the technique and tactics of soccer. Younger groups will focus on technical skill development, while older groups will concentrate on decision-making under pressure and tactical awareness. Equipment: workout gear, cleats, sneakers, shin guards and soccer ball.

Softball Camp
ages: 6-16. 2010 dates: July 12-16, 9 a.m.-noon. cost: $79
Instruction in this camp will emphasize batting, base-running, throwing, fielding, pitching and catching. Equipment: glove, sneakers, cleats (optional) and bat (optional).

Tennis Camp
ages: 8-15. 2010 dates: June 29- July 2, 9 a.m. - 1pm; July 6 -10, 9 a.m.- noon., July 6-9 from 5 - 8 p.m. cost: $79
Instruction in this camp will emphasize the development of ground strokes, net play and serve. Individualized instruction is provided for all levels of play, from beginner to advanced. Equipment: racquet, workout gear and tennis shoes.

Adventure Camp
ages 9-16. 2010 dates: July 6-9 (no 7/5), 9 a.m.- 1 p.m. cost: $90
July 19-23, 9-12 noon. cost: $90
A series of activities designed to challenge participants on both an individual and group basis. Presented by trained instructors the program encourages teamwork, cooperation, focus and responsibility. Participants work together to successfully maneuver each obstacle and creatively solve challenges. Equipment: workout gear and sneakers.

Advanced Adventure
ages 9-16. 2010: Aug 2-6, 5- 8 p.m. cost: $155
Campers will learn and participate in belay techniques, knot tying and the necessary skills to facilitate an adventure course. Prerequisite: Campers must have participated in at least 2 previous adventure camps. Equipment: workout gear and sneakers.
Attention, campers. Due to renovations in the McDonough Field House, the indoor adventure course will not be available for use. This camp will be held on our outdoor course in rain or shine conditions.

Football Camp
ages 7-14. 2010: July 12-16, 9 a.m- Noon. cost: $79
Instruction in the fundamental skills needed to play the game of football will be covered. This is a non-contact camp that also will serve to enhance the knowledge of the basic rules of the game. All in attendance will learn to pass, kick, snap, catch, block and tackle. Equipment: workout gear, cleats and/or sneakers.

Softball Camp
ages 8-15. 2010: July 12-16, 9 a.m.-Noon. cost: $79
Instruction in this camp will emphasize batting, base-running, throwing, fielding, pitching and catching. Equipment: glove, sneakers, cleats (optional) and bat (optional).

T-Ball
ages 4-6. 2010 dates: July 26-30, 9 a.m. - Noon. cost: $79
This camp centered around the game of T-ball will be a fun way of learning skills for hitting, catching, throwing and running bases. Daily activities also will include games, crafts and water activities. (balloons and slip 'n slides)

Volleyball- (Held at LaSalle Institute - 174 Williams Road)
ages 9-15. 2010: June 28-July 2, 9 a.m.-12 noon. cost: $79
For the beginning player: learn to pass, set, dig, block, spike and serve. Focus will be on basic skill improvement and fun activities centered around the game of volleyball. Equipment needed: sneakers, workout gear. Suggested: knee pads.

All Sports
ages 7-14. 2010: July 26-30, 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. cost: $155
This camp provides participants with a unique opportunity to experience a variety of camps in one setting. Throughout the week, various sports will be featured including: soccer, tennis, handball, wiffleball, badminton, weight training, team building and brain games. Equipment: sneakers and workout gear.
