Description:
The New York Film Academy summer camps for kids and teens are known throughout the world for their intensive, hands-on approach to teaching the fundamentals of filmmaking and acting to hundreds of students each year. All students are immersed from day one into their chosen craft.
Parents who send their sons and daughters to study with NYFA include Steven Spielberg, Al Pacino, Robert Downey Jr., Jamie Fox, Susan Sarandon, Kevin Kline, Val Kilmer, and Jodi Foster among many others.

Program Information:
Programs available for teenagers, 14-17 are: Filmmaking, Advanced Filmmaking, Digital Filmmaking, Acting for Film, 3D Animation, Screenwriting, and Broadcast Journalism - one to six week day camps and twelve week evening program.
Programs for Kids 10-13 include acting and filmmaking - two week or weekend programs.
All programs are coed.
