The New York Summer Music Festival announces its 4th season at the beautiful SUNY Oneonta!

NYSMF's Visiting Artist Program provides a rare opportunity for our students to interact with professional musicians of international acclaim. Click here to view our 2009 Visting Artist Program

Students study extensively in many areas of instruction, including: Orchestras and bands for instrumentalists; Choral ensembles and original music theatre projects for vocalists; Composition workshops; A number of jazz classes and ensembles for those who desire intensive jazz training, and; Classes introducing new instruments, such as beginning piano and beginning guitar. In addition to supplemental classes spanning a wide range of ability levels and interests in areas of: music history, theory, computer technology in music, filmmaking, jazz improvisation, and many others!

Program Information:
The NYSMF is for students ages 10-25. Students may attend for 2, 4, or 6 weeks.
Day or Residential options available.
