The Westchester Community College Mt. Vernon Extension Center is located at 175 Gramatan Avenue, Mt. Vernon, NY. Culinary arts classes for children in our fully equipped teaching kitchen
State of the Art Equipment • Nurturing Instruction • Opportunity for Fun and Creativity
Students may register for one or all classes in their age group.

Program Information:
Jr. Chefs, ages 9 – 16, will learn kitchen safety, basic nutrition, cooking and baking techniques, and food preparation skills.
Weekly topics include Fun with Healthy Foods, Snack Attack, Baker’s Delight, and Let’s Make a Meal.
New recipes and menus are introduced each week. Students will sample treats and take them home along with recipes.
Choose one or more age-appropriate weeks for a food-and-fun-filled summer! M/T/W/Th, 9:00 am-4:00 pm, includes supervised lunch break (students must bring their own lunch)
